Created as a softer counterpoint to the solidity of our pewter boxes, the Roma Silk Pouch draws on the vivid colour and visual richness of the Roman world. Its scarlet red recalls a colour that appeared throughout Roman life, invoking power, while silk introduces lightness and fluidity to the collection's material language. 

Custom-made for AVM in New York from 100% silk, each pouch was originally conceived to protect the pieces of Roma, but designed with a life beyond that purpose in mind. Kept as an object in its own right, it can continue to hold whatever its owner chooses.
