The Parcae

A Roman die carved from bone, suspended within a 750 gold pendant.

At the heart of The Parcae is an original Roman die carved from bone, preserved as it has survived for nearly two thousand years. Set within a sculptural cage made from 750 gold, AVM sought to ensure every softened edge and subtle imperfection remains visible, highlighting the object's remarkable journey through time.

Once held in the palm of a Roman hand, it now continues its journey as a contemporary pendant, an ancient object carrying centuries of possibility, left up to fate.

Please note: the pendant is pictured without its chain, which is currently being handcrafted to complete the piece.
